Howdy all! I hope everyone is killing at their reselling career so far. Being a reseller is no easy task. Although it can be a lot of self-perseverance and hard work, it's sure to pay off in the end. Today, I'd like to talk about how many sales I get per day, and how you can set yourself up to get more of them. How Many Sales Do I Get Per Day as a Reseller? First let me ask, how did you get started? Let me know all about your reselling journey in the comments below. Let's chat about it and find ways to improve upon our processes! Did you start out selling one or two items a month? Do you now sell several items per day? Or perhaps you began your journey by stepping into someone else's shoes, by taking over an already existing company. No matter which way you began, there's almost always a surefire way to improve upon it. As of today, I currently average anywhere from 8 to 12 sales daily. I know that there are plenty of people out there that are running much bigger businesses, that pull in anywhere from 20 to 50 to even a whopping 100 sales each and every day! Mind-blowing, I agree. But the fact of the matter is, that most of us resellers run this business as a one-man-show. That means we lack the time saving capabilities to entrust our work into photographers, listers, shippers, etc. The bigger businesses typically have these in common. They have managed to scale big enough to be able to hire out some of their tasks to: Friends Family members Employees Contractors This means that they then have the ability to get more sourcing done, in smarter ways, so that they can spend that extra time saved invested back into building their business even bigger. This is everyone's goal though, for the most part. (Unless you dig keeping it as a side hustle! That's totally cool, too). Just remember that as you grow, you will most likely get more headaches here and there in terms of higher return rates, more questions to answer, and an increased amount of shipping supplies to order. And that's okay! As long as you are able to keep up and handle the work that you love doing, you will surely get to the top in no time at all. How to Increase Your Amount of Sales Per Day as a Reseller? So, how do you manage to increase those sales? This is going to take time...and a lot of it. Especially if you're going at it alone. Be patient, be consistent, and keep pushing ahead. Algorithms love consistency, and they will handsomely reward you if you stick to a routine or schedule of listing and sharing and refreshing and all the super fun stuff. (I know, I know, it's not really that fun all the time).  Unfortunately, (even on the weekends), you need to be working to build your business to the level you desire. At one point, I managed to get up to nearly 30 sales per day, but this wasn't sustainable. Take a Breather if You Need One I had to scale it back down a bit while I managed other areas of my life, and now am slowly building back up again. I too, had started out with just a few sales per month, but all the diligent effort and continued extra hours have been paying off. My store is now larger, running more consistently, and providing a great, small, full-time income. If you plan to just keep running your business by yourself, you're going to need to get better at time management, by making the most of the time you have available. Working on the weekends isn't always necessary. You can still catch a break now and then, as long as you plan ahead and set fresh listings and policies in place. This will allow you to continue moving in the right direction, as you get the break you most likely deserve! Now go get those sales! Thank You! How Many Sales Do I Get Per Day as a Reseller?

First let me ask, how did you get started? Let me know all about your reselling journey in the comments below. Let’s chat about it and find ways to improve upon our processes!

Did you start out selling one or two items a month? Do you now sell several items per day?

Or perhaps you began your journey by stepping into someone else’s shoes, by taking over an already existing company.

No matter which way you began, there’s almost always a surefire way to improve upon it.

As of today, I currently average anywhere from 8 to 12 sales daily.

I know that there are plenty of people out there that are running much bigger businesses, that pull in anywhere from 20 to 50 to even a whopping 100 sales each and every day! Mind-blowing, I agree.

But the fact of the matter is, that most of us resellers run this business as a one-man show. That means we lack the time-saving capabilities to entrust our work to photographers, listers, shippers, etc.

The bigger businesses typically have these in common. They have managed to scale big enough to be able to hire out some of their tasks to:
  • Friends
  • Family members
  • Employees
  • Contractors

This means that they then have the ability to get more sourcing done, in smarter ways, so that they can spend that extra time saved invested back into building their business even bigger.

This is everyone’s goal though, for the most part. (Unless you dig keeping it as a side hustle! That’s totally cool, too).

And that’s okay!

As long as you are able to keep up and handle the work that you love doing, you will surely get to the top in no time at all.
