3 Reselling Things I’ve Learned This Week Working From Home

Working from Home? Here’s a few things I’ve learned so far:

Hey friends! So if you were here to read my recent posts, you’ll know that I’ve been considering a new post series for the weekly Thursday slot. I mentioned that I felt this was a good time do a little switcheroo since that post marked about 7 months since starting the Top 10 Weekly Sales! Holy cow it’s gone by quickly!! Check the most recent one out below if you’re interested in learning what they were!

However! I’ve had a few people mention that the Top Ten Sales has really helped them to see what’s selling, so I’ve decided to continue on with that series as well as this new one. The Top Ten Sales posts will be on Saturdays, since this new series is taking the Thursday slot. Thank you for your patience as I adjust things!

So, we have begun a new mini series. These posts will focus on the 3 most important things that I’ve learned as a reseller, (that also works from home as a blogger), and why I value them. I will also explain how I plan to implement them into my everyday full-time reselling business, and how I feel they’ll benefit my brand. I hope you enjoy this new series!

Please feel free to drop any comments or suggestions below in the comment box, so that we can discuss and share similar topics of interest! Thanks for reading!

Spend More Time Reading and Less Time Stressing

This may go without saying, but we humans really suck at times letting go of the stress! It overtakes, overcomes and overwhelms us on the daily, and that’s just not cool. It’s hard to imagine a world without stress, but I’m beginning to see a way out! Let me enlighten you.

If you already skimmed the headline above, you probably know what I’m getting at. Forgetting to sit down and read sometimes can do damage to your mental health. As humans, we engorge ourselves in the daily stresses of life, and forgot that simply reading a good book is an excellent way to unwind.

Over the past year or so, I’ve really been digging my teeth into grasping at all the knowledge I can get. It’s addicting, really. The amount of information out there (free and available, mind you!) for you to learn is just truly incredible.

Try taking advantage of this and take at least a few moments every day to learn, listen, or read a good book. This could be educational, business-related, self-improvement, or a novel.

Either way, you’ll probably learn something about the world, your business, or yourself in that time, and to me, that’s a good way to chill out while getting some good old positive benefits in the process.

Say Goodbye to Overrun Box Clutter!

Okay okay, so you all know I resell, right? Well, if you don’t, I recommend you get caught up on a few of my posts!

Anyways, if you resell too, you know that the boxes, well…there are either not enough or wayyyy too many! (If you couldn’t tell, I’m obviously at the too many stage!) It’s getting a bit ridiculous to say the least. I used to keep a healthy stockpile of them you know, “just in case.” Ahh, the famous last words of a hoarder! Am I right?!

Well, since I’ve been streamlining my business a little more, and getting away from selling more hard goods, these boxes are less and less needed.

What about boots you may be wondering?

Typically with boots, I like to bubble wrap these a few times, and then stick them into a larger polymailer. This seems to get the job done without hassle or complaint, and saves almost half on shipping costs. Pretty cool, eh? So this month, I’m tackling my box clutter.

Are you with me? Let me know what kind of clutter you’re going to tackle this month in the comment section below!

Say Hello to Less Time Needing to Source

Something else I’ve been doing lately is sourcing more. Nooo, not in stores, but online! It’s been working out really great so far, and is substantially more convenient.

If you’re wanting to know more about where I like to source my items from these days, take a peek at this post when you’re finished here!

Sourcing online has a lot of benefits. It also has some downfalls, though. We’ll start with the obvious. You can’t see your soon-to-be inventory! A real bummer, I know.

However, I do know of one or two that will actually show you your items VIA VIDEO. YES! VIDEO! How awesome is that?!

If you’re interested in learning more about these particular places, shoot me a comment or a message and I’ll enclose the deets in the reply!

Now, let’s quickly go over the benefits. You can shop from the comfort of your own home! Or from a mountain…or a park…or on the beach, with your fun shades and new swimsuit sipping on a chilled summer-y frozen cocktail. (Can you tell I’m wanting that last one?)

Not only can you source from anywhere, but you can lose the hassle of overflowing carts at the thrift, and waiting in lines while they check your items out one by one. By shopping online, you get your items delivered to your door in one fell swoop. Order, open your door, open your box. Boom. Sourcing done.

What’s your favorite way to source? Is there a box collection you’ve been hiding? Are you planning to read more? Let’s connect!

Talk to you again on Saturday! Peace!

Thank You!

A giant thanks to everyone that has supported me this far into my journey! I greatly appreciate you returning to read my posts hope that you will continue to drop by in the future.
