I never thought I would have the opportunity to do so. But to my surprise, I am now able to work full-time from my home computer. And I love it. It’s rewarding and comforting all at the same time. If you’re already being quarantined to work from home nowadays until the foreseeable future, my advice is to take full advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Reselling Opportunities
It’s really just that. Because truly, how often will this chance arrive again that you will be able to spend time with your household, (your kids or roommates, your pets, and your significant other), as much as you are now? It’s unlikely that in your lifetime it will happen again. May as well take the chance to supplement your income while you have it by going hard on those side hustles! For me, and what I think your top choice should be, is reselling as your side hustle.
Reselling As Your Side Hustle
Personally, I chose reselling over all other things because well, it works. (Check out here for my 22 Reasons!) I’ve gone through the whole coupon apps and cashback savings and taking surveys ploys, you name it. However, nothing will pay the bills and grant you access to working full-time as much as reselling will.
If I hadn’t already been a reseller before a global pandemic arose, I would definitely be putting all my eggs into that basket right now. It’s a lot of work. However, if you can sustain consistency and put in the effort, it will pay off in the long run.
Working from home is tricky when you have little ones or loved ones to take care of, this is certain. However, if you are already using your home office space to work your 9-5, why not add a little extra?
If you can finish your career work a little early, or have some extra pockets in the day that you are looking to fill with productive activities, reselling may be for you. It’s easy to start up, costs nearly nothing, and can earn you a little extra cash during those harder months to help you get by.
Always start out with what you have lying around first, then move on to sourcing when you run out. This way, you have zero cost going into this journey,and can keep your head above water as you learn. A Profitable Way To Gain Extra Money
Many “side hustles” out there that have you working from home, can really eat up a lot of time, without a lot of payout. From my experience, I find that reselling as your side hustle really gives you just as much back as what you put into it.
If I’m having an off day, and perhaps don’t list as much, or share as much, I can definitely feel it in my sales. When you put in the work, the sales will follow.
I would recommend starting out reselling as a simple side hustle until you have mastered the Jedi ways of sourcing and listing efficiently. This way, you can work it into those little chunks of time that fit in between your regular day job. If all goes well, maybe you, too, can turn this side hustle into a full-time career, and working from home can be permanent for you.
The added benefit of working from home is that you don’t always have to work at home. Many days, if you catch up on work that needs to be done in the physical sense, and then you can simply bring your phone, laptop, or tablet with you to complete the rest of your work for the day. Whether you choose to be on a quick trip to the park, (or perhaps when travel is available again), to further destinations.
