Did someone ever tell you that reselling isn’t a “real job?” Yeah, same here! Unfortunately, it’s still for some reason not considered the real thing, even though it very much is. A career/job/whatever you want to call it is different to each and every person.
Just because you may not see results right away, doesn’t mean it’s not a successful business. Just because someone is pointing out the fact that you work from a “home office” every day, doesn’t mean you need to take offense to it. Do what you do best. Keep on rising your business to the very top.
Because, why the hell not?
Reselling is a Stable Career
Whether or not your current or ex co-workers want to believe it, life as a reseller is more than stable. It not only lets you set your own schedule, (so that you can visit your mom or attend your kid’s games), but it also packs a serious punch in profits.
When you begin down the path to becoming a reseller, life can get a little hectic. This especially goes for anyone like myself, that has never had a work-from-home job before. It’s a serious commitment to live the work from home life, and it’s not a joke in the least sense.
Discipline, motivation, and stamina are just 3 things I’d like to point out. These things are acquired, and often learned and improved more than ever before when you start a reselling business.
Why? Because up until now, you may not have had the option to do as you please during the day. You may have just had a boss telling you where to be, why you need to be there, and when you need to have things completed.
Sure, nothing comes easy. And work will always need to be done. But if you keep working at your little side hustle, you’ll be able to turn it into a bigger, more impressive business in no time.
You just have to keep forging ahead and forgetting about the haters along the way, because unfortunately, they’ll ALWAYS be there. It just is what it is. It’s pushing past this negativity and becoming better at your craft that will speak volumes to those who don’t see your “job” for what it really is…a JOB.
Reselling is a Sustainable Career
Ahh, yes. But then come the super not-fun questions of automation. And the But’s, and the What If’s, and then Or What Happens When…
Right. Everything changes. Whether we like it or not, life keeps on happening around us, even if we choose to be our own little version of Bubble Boy. Maybe some of us just like it that way. And that’s okay.
But you may get asked about AI, automation, virtual tasks that can be replicated, done faster, done more efficiently. Well, who cares. Live in the now. Obviously, if you’re a business owner, you need to think constantly about your future. That’s a given.
If you just keep working on mastering your business to the best of your current and learnable abilities, you needn’t have fear in tasks that others can handle. You may even need your own VA’s or assistants IRL already in your current state. That’s a good thing.
Growth means that you’ll need to invest more time into hiring new people, allowing more into your life on both the personal and business aspects. You’re going to grow and learn and thrive because you know things those assistants don’t. That’s why they need you to train them on what works best for you and your business because YOU are the creator of your own ideas.
Get After It & Forget The Doubts
You know how you got here, why you made it here to begin with. You know why you climbed that mountain and why you keep on climbing. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
They can assist you in your business, but they can’t DO what you do. Gaining your own reseller Rolodex is something that’s mastered year over year, and your own personal business strategies can only be improved day after day as you consistently gain new knowledge on how to perfect your business in more and more ways.
Reselling is sustainable. It is stable. And this industry is only growing at a rapid rate. Be proud to call yourself a reseller, and don’t let anyone else judge you on it. Don’t let them get you down because, in the long run, you chose this job, fell into this job, or are relying on this job for a reason. Your reason. Those reasons can vary immensely, depending on our own situations. The way we choose to handle those situations is what matters.
