Hello everyone! Have you been feeling the autumn-ness about the weather as of late?! I love it! The leaves are beautiful, and the crisp, cool air. Oh I just look forward to it so much and now it’s finally here!
With the Fall season comes good things for us resellers, as well. Finally, we have moved past the dreaded “summer slow down.” And finally, school is nearly back in session.
The holiday season is soon approaching, which means more shoppers are turning to online platforms to find the best gifts for their loved ones.
This is our time to shine fellow resellers!
Today, let’s go over some items that have been consistently selling for me that really stick out the most. These are ones to keep in mind when you’re heading out to pick up new inventory to add to your store.
What’s Selling?
So lately, I’ve been selling a lot of the same things. They are typically:
- Crew neck sweatshirts
- Cowboy boots
- Jackets/Blazers
I’d like to dive into more detail on what brands or styles are selling more often and for higher profit margins.
Keep in mind that these crew neck sweatshirts usually have some sort of graphic on them, or have a college name embroidered or printed on the front.
Most often the vintage ones sell the best, but more modern styles sell frequently as well. Just use your best judgement and ask yourself if you think it would sell!
Be sure to check for tears and stains before purchasing, and try your hand at buying in bulk if the opportunity presents itself!

Cowboy Boots

By far, the best ones to come across when out in the wild from the list above, would have to be Tony Lama.
These boots are made of great quality leather and have the highest turnover rate out of all of the cowboy boot brands that I’ve sold.
They consistently sell within a few days or weeks, and always sell for the highest profit margins.
Justin and Ariat sell the most often, as they are also more easy to come across when sourcing.

Go with your gut instinct and don’t overthink something when you’re out sourcing. If something feels right, it probably is.
Copy and paste these lists into a Microsoft Word or Google Doc so that you can print them out for your convenience! I did this with many lists when I started out thrifting, and it helped a great deal in my search.
I’m hopeful it will provide you with some excellent finds as well! Happy hunting!
