Do you add a little extra something to your packages? Do you try to find other ways to make your business standout?
Today, I’d like to talk about the many ways we can highlight key parts of your business to better show off our brand and build it up to rise to the top!
Let’s get started!
Think Bigger
Let’s start off with your sold item. What is it? Who is your customer?
Do all of your customers have anything in common, or perhaps have the same set of likes?
I thought about this when deciding on what free goodies to throw in. You can read more about that here in my most recent post.
I wanted something to reflect my business, but that was something that everyone would be able to utilize as well.
Whenever I get packages shipped to me, I always hate it when there’s just another piece of junk that I have to figure out what to do with.
Sure, not everything is junk, and junk means different things to each and every one of us.
However, I want my customers to be pleased with their package, the whole way from start to finish.
This means, when they receive it from the mailman, all the way to the disposal.
What’s Your Brand?
What does your brand represent? Does it represent anything at all?
Does it reflect the sort of person you are, or maybe it’s your name?
I like to think that my brand represents a minimal, relaxing, (mostly) eco-friendly ambiance, with natural earthy tones and good vibes.
So, I try my best to portray this in my packaging, so that my customer can get those feel-good vibes as well with every package they may receive.
Figuring this out may be difficult, and don’t worry if you feel like changing it over time…that’s just human nature.
If you’re trying out a new design, logo, or color scheme, try to introduce it slowly and painlessly, so that you remain recognizable to your loyal customers that you already have.
Your brand and style are the only aspects you have available to releasing your voice to your customers, so make sure you put a good amount of thought into it and are absolutely sure it fits you and your business.
What is My Version of Unique?
My brand style has changed ever so slightly over the past few years of running my business.
I’ve grown and developed into what I believe is my true style in both life and my brand.
It took some self-awareness and personal development to really discover what style fits me best and what I want to portray as my brand to others.
However, I feel as though I have successfully conquered this today.
I absolutely love my brand, my style, and feel more comfortable than ever before with who I am, who I have become, and how I like my brand to be perceived as.
I’m hopeful that this post will inspire you to find your true self in both your business and personal life, and pushes you just a little more to becoming the truest version of you.
