If you’re wondering if you’d have the time to take on reselling full-time, well I’m here to tell you that you can absolutely do just that. It’s not as complicated as you may be thinking, and it really doesn’t take up all that much time if you’re able to manage it properly. Today I wanted to dive into why you think you don’t have time to be a reseller, and how you can adjust your schedule so that you do in fact, have all the time you need to succeed in your online store.
Find Your Pockets (And Save More Time)
No, no. Not the ones on your pants. Those time pockets in your day! You know the ones…
- When you’re waiting for your kid to get off the school bus
- In line at the grocery store (Or save even more time and shop from home on HelloFresh!)
- In the waiting room at a doctor’s appointment
- While the minutes melt away as you await your dinner dish
- Waiting on your dogs to pick their best toy to play with
- After dinner instead of watching the Chrisley’s
- In between reading your favorite book
- Instead of scrolling Insta or TikTok for the latest trendy dance moves
Obviously, we’ve got all got lots more pockets than we think, wouldn’t you agree?
If you’re regularly binge-watching the newest series or rewatching old reruns, chances are, you could probably be a reseller. You’re just not using your time to your best advantage.
I don’t always feel like being on my phone or computer 24/7/365. However, one of the best parts of being a reseller is the fact that we’re pretty much able to work from wherever.
If we decide to have a home office, that can be done. If we’d prefer to work out of a storage unit, that can also be done. And, if you’re really getting to the next level of reselling and need to break in a new warehouse or office space, that, too, can be done my reselling friends.
Another great thing is that we can work from our phones, iPads, tablets, laptops, you name it. Whatever you’ve got, will probably work just great for your gig.
Don’t Overcomplicate Things.
- Do the research.
- Source the items.
- Sell all the things.
- Live more comfortably with your new profits!
Yes, I know. I, too, like to overthink things on the regular. It’s just human nature.
If you spend too much time researching, you’ll never have time to source. And if you spend too much time sourcing, you’ll never have enough time to list all the great treasures you’ve found!
In turn, not being able to list will cause you to have not too many sales, resulting in you probably being pretty bummed about your reselling career. We don’t want that.
So, if you stay focused and are sure to put your time to use at every chance you get, you’ll have a better chance of surviving the reselling realm and getting to the top.
Take your pictures as soon as you can manage after your next sourcing trip. Then, you’ll have a nice backlog of photos in your phone or camera, to take with you on the go. (A phone is highly recommended for this step, as they have very nice cameras these days and are also much more convenient to take on the road).
Then, when you’re waiting for any of the above-mentioned things, you can simply pull out your phone, upload your photos, and list. And just like that, you’ve successfully found ways to use up all those extra pockets. Pretty cool, right? It’s like you didn’t waste any time at all.
