The #1 Reason to Become a Reseller…Freedom.

Freedom. That’s what we all really want, isn’t it? The freedom to “be our own boss.” The freedom to choose whether or not we choose to work today. Or to take that 10 am yoga class on Monday morning just because you freaking feel like it. Freedom is a big benefit of being a reseller. But it’s not all sugar and posies and rainbows, either.

Let’s talk about the best. I’d like to leave the worst for another day.

The #1 Reason to Become a Reseller

So, we’ve already mentioned this. Freedom. Freedom to do whatever the hell you want, right?

Nope.

Reselling has taught me many things over the years. It’s taught me about myself…tremendously. Like, I can’t even describe how much.

But it’s also taught me that I don’t need to take orders from someone to succeed. I don’t need to have a manager breathing down my back to get my shit done.

I just do it.

It was a long and grueling journey to get to this point, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world, as I’m sure most of you “work from home-ers” do as well.

Running your own business, ( mostly online), is much harder than it may seem, and forging a path to success is even more difficult when you realize there’s about 7,000+ resell businesses in just the United States alone.

Can Anybody Be a Reseller?

My short answer? No.

I feel like everyone has an equal chance to “make it.” However, not everyone is willing to give up certain things and sacrifice half of their homes to overturned bins and boot piles that reach the ceilings.

If you resell, you know that this job requires your attention nearly 24/7/365. This is a full-time job on steroids.

Most people don’t consider these things when starting out, and that’s perfectly normal. (I know I didn’t).

But the thing is, that it’s actually extremely eye-opening and rewarding if you choose to put in the amount of effort that’s needed.

Anyone can resell. But not everyone will be successful at reselling, and that’s just the obvious truth.

If you’d like to follow tips and tricks from resellers such as yours truly, (or other big names in the biz), you’re more likely to discover hidden ways to save time, cool tricks for saving on trips to the thrift, and how to manage your inventory better.

But before then, just focus on what works best for you, and grow at your own pace. Rushing never helped anyone. (I’ve got lots of stubbed toes to tell you all about my rushing tendencies).

What Does Freedom Mean to You?

Having freedom in our jobs can be looked at differently depending on where you are in life, what location we reside, how many people we share our home with, and the list goes on.

Freedom to me means that I’m able to do the aforementioned, (including taking those mid-day naps if my body really needs one).

Freedom can mean picking your kids up from school every day, or being home with your dogs more often. (Mine really dig that part).

It can refer to taking more time to spend on your mental and physical health, which we should all be trying our best to take more part in these days.

The world is spinning faster than ever with new gizmos and gadgets coming at us left and right, and we’re using wearables like they’re going out of style.

Use your freedom to slow down and embrace the fact that you get to do what you do, whatever that may be.
