My Top 10 Most Expensive Sales on Poshmark

6 Minute Read

How We’ll Be Covering My Poshmark Sales

Hey there readers and virtual friends of mine! I’ve been thinking of some new article ideas lately, and going over my top ten Poshmark sales seemed pretty cool to me. I’d like to keep you guys updated on some of my stats over time, to help you see what’s been selling and what is most popular. (This is in my closet of course, and can always vary so please keep that in mind!)

The topic I’ve chosen to write about today for you is regarding my top ten most expensive sales on Poshmark. This means, that I’ve simply filtered my closet to find the highest sold items (without being added to bundles of course) and figured it would be easiest to add pictures as well. I will do my best to list where I found these items, and approximately how long they took to sell, their size, basic info, and what they sold for.

Some items were from closer to when I started my reselling journey, and I do not have all of the information for every item listed. However, I will guesstimate as close as possible where this is necessary. I will start with my highest sold item, and move down the list from there!

Please let me know if this is something that you all enjoy and would prefer more of in the future! Drop a comment down below and give me your thoughts if you liked or disliked this type of article. Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your read!

Pre-Owned Vintage Sportowne Union Made Tan Fur Coat

This beauty was Made in the USA, is mid-length, and only showed one minor flaw with a clasp. The fur was in excellent condition with an amazing colorway. Truly one of a kind.

  • Sold for: $150
  • Size: 8
  • Months Listed: 1coat
  • Sourced From: Goodwill

(Check out my next post on how I keep track of my cog ((cost of goods)), place purchased, and month listed by placing a small code in my listings).

NWT (New with Tags) Coach Signature C Black Medium Handbag

This perfect grayscale double-handled medium-sized shoulder bag is perfect for your everyday purse. It has a zip closure and multiple interior pockets for maximum storage!

  • Sold for: $139
  • Size: Medium
  • Months Listed: 2
  • Sourced From: Yard Sale/Estate Salepurse

Pre-Owned Ariat Red & Black Mens Western Cowboy Boots

These were so kickass that I literally wish they were my size. I grew up in cowboy boots and wore them nearly every day. These bad boys only had one minor scuff, but were otherwise in like-new condition. If memory serves me, I believe they sold within one day.

*Side Note: I’ve had great luck with Ariat! If you come across any in the wild for an affordable price, I highly recommend picking them up.

  • Sold for: $100
  • Size: 10
  • Months Listed: Less than 1
  • Sourced From: Yard Sale/Estate Sale

Pre-Owned Michael Kors Saffiano Hamilton Tote

This tote had only one small mark on it, but was in near excellent condition. Clearly, as you can tell from the photo with the fur wall covering, this was one of my earlier items. I had the cutest white fur rug backdrop and natural wooden planks for a surface that I found on eBay, with strand lights hanging above.

As much as I adored this setup, I strongly recommend sticking to what I use now if possible. I simply use a clear command hook on a white-painted wall behind my door. This is handy since I can use the over-the-door rack to hang extra items and my measuring tape.

I have found that this setup looks great on any platform you may use, and really makes your item stand out, no matter the color. You want your item to pop and not confuse potential buyers about what the actual item for sale may be.

  • Sold for: $100
  • Size: Medium
  • Months Listed: Approx. 6
  • Sourced From: Consignment Storepurse

*Side Note: I don’t recommend sourcing at consignment stores UNLESS you have the knowledge that the item will 100% sell for a profit. Sourcing at these stores can usually be much pricier and may clog up your expenses category until it sells.

Pre-Owned Michael Kors Saffiano Leather Red Handbag

(Obviously, I thought these were both great pick-ups from the same store and I happened to luck out! Go early reselling Shelby!) I didn’t know much about purses at the time, let alone designer ones. This was also when my husband still used to go thrifting with me and convinced me they would be worth the ROI, (return on investment).

*Side Note: Personally, I prefer to keep a lower cost of goods, so that my inventory cost doesn’t outweigh my sales cost at the end of the year. I like buying low and selling high, but if you like to source newer or NWT items, that may fetch you a higher COG price per item. And that’s totally fine! Whatever works best for you is what it’s all about. This is your business, do it the way you want to! Do you Boo-Boo!

  • Sold for: $100
  • Size: Medium
  • Months Listed: Approx. 7purse
  • Sourced From: Consignment Store

Pre-Owned Tory Burch White Open Toed Wedge Slip On Sandals

As you can see below, these also moved quite quickly for me. I remember them sitting in my death/money pile, (I’ve heard them called both!), for literal months. I was a little behind on sales the week I finally decided to list these, and to my surprise, they sold the same night for nearly a full price offer. Being so elated about this, I promised myself I wouldn’t let my money pile get too big ever again!

  • Sold for: $100
  • Size: 7
  • Months Listed: Less than 1
  • Sourced From: Yard Sale/Estate Saletory

Pre-Owned Dolce & Gabbana Mens Black Jeans

*Side Note: I know that a lot of these sales seem like high-end items, and I promise I definitely don’t find these gems on the regular. However, when I come across one, I am sure to (make sure it’s legit first and foremost), and then snatch it up before my competition does!

These were in near perfect condition. And were hanging with another pair very similar. (I obviously grabbed both! The others took a bit longer to sell as they weren’t as in pristine condition). I couldn’t believe my eyes when I found them both just chilling there amongst the American Eagle and Wrangler jeans.

  • Sold for: $90
  • Size: 30/44
  • Months Listed: 1
  • Sourced From: Goodwilljeans

NIB (New in Box) Betsey Johnson Leopard Band Gold Women’s Watch

This came included with the original box, which was also super cute! It was a genuine leather band, water-resistant, and had a stainless steel back. Stunning.

  • Sold for: $85
  • Size: One Size
  • Months Listed: Less than 1
  • Sourced From: Yard Sale/Estate Salewatch

I LOVED this belt. It fit perfectly around my waist and I SO wanted to keep it! I think that’s the hardest part about being a reseller. Finding all these cool things all the time, especially the more valuable ones, and knowing that as much as you think it’s the baddest belt in the bunch, $85 smackers could really come in handy for that forever-rising phone bill.

It had studs, multiple holes to adjust sizing, and a detachable chain as well. Too cool. Definitely couldn’t pass it up when it caught my eye.

  • Sold for: $85
  • Size: Medium
  • Months Listed: 2
  • Sourced From: St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Storebelt

Pre-Owned Birkenstocks Professional Slip Resistant Clogs

These were a quality pair of clogs Made in Germany, with only one minor flaw on the underside of the shoe. They were a “Super-Birky” style, with snakeskin pbirksrinted all over and a removable cork footbed. Being unisex helped broaden the range of potential buyers as well, bonus!

  • Sold for: $75
  • Size: Women’s 7 or Mens 5
  • Months Listed: Approx. 4
  • Sourced From: thredUp
