3 Things I’ve Learned This Week Working From Home

Working from Home? Here’s a few things I’ve learned so far:

Hey friends! So if you were here to read my recent posts, you’ll know that I’ve been considering a new post series for the weekly Thursday slot. I mentioned that I felt this was a good time do a little switcheroo since that post marked about 8 months since starting the Top 10 Weekly Sales! Holy cow it’s gone by quickly!! Check the most recent one out below if you’re interested in learning what they were!

However! I’ve had a few people mention that the Top Ten Sales has really helped them to see what’s selling, so I’ve decided to continue on with that series as well as this new one. The Top Ten Sales posts will be on Saturdays, since this new series is taking the Thursday slot. Thank you for your patience as I adjust things!

So, we have begun a new mini series. These posts will focus on the 3 most important things that I’ve learned as a reseller, (that also works from home as a blogger), and why I value them. I will also explain how I plan to implement them into my everyday full-time reselling business, and how I feel they’ll benefit my brand. I hope you enjoy this new series!

Please feel free to drop any comments or suggestions below in the comment box, so that we can discuss and share similar topics of interest! Thanks for reading!

I’m Better at Being My Own Boss Than I’d Thought

So when I started out on this reselling/blogging/bossing journey, I wasn’t sure I’d be cut out for the task.

I thought I may slack off, watch TV more often, and eat wayyy more junk food since it is now at my disposal 24/7 in the kitchen down the hall.

Truth is…I totally did ALL of these…at first.

Then, days, months, and even years passed, and I started (slowly but surely), improving drastically over time. I managed to get my tasks done in a timely manner, finishing to-do’s before their deadlines, and learned to start thinking proactively about the next day’s duties.

A lot of this time, I used the trial and error method. I needed to find a way that worked for me, while I worked from home.

Stick With Your Goals

It was definitely hard at first to kick myself in gear. But I was determined to never need to worry about having a boss ever again.

I wanted to work for myself, and I was tired of waiting.

So, I started making lists, using sticky notes, and setting reminders…something I’d actually never successfully stuck with in the past.

By changing my mindset, and making sure to put my priorities in the correct order, I have finally been able to achieve some goals (and am working towards many others as you follow along).

I highly suggest you try doing the same if you’re feeling stuck. It can be difficult in the beginning to work from home and stay motivated.

But by staying motivated and forging ahead, you will be sure to come out on top.

Remember Why They Became Your Goals to Begin With

Just thinking back to the person I was before, is pure craziness.

My life has quite literally been turned upside down since starting my business, and I wouldn’t change a single thing about it.

I’ve had my own goal of doing something special for myself, creating my own business, and succeeding alone…for practically forever.

I just didn’t know what my calling was, and finally, I’d found it.

I fell into the reselling world backwards and turned it around from there. Never hearing of it beforehand, I had to do some serious researching to understand the industry fully.

Once I got the hang of it, I decided to start writing about it. Hence, why this blog was created.

Loving reselling came easy, and I wanted to share the love by showing and encouraging others to do the same.

That is why I now post 3x weekly on this blog, in hopes that I will be able to provide at least some context to learn how freeing working for yourself from home can be.

It is rewarding in ways I’d never thought, and has changed me as a person for the better. You can do it, too! Build your business, and build yourself a more rewarding life.

Thank You!

A giant thanks to everyone that has supported me this far into my journey! I greatly appreciate you returning to read my posts hope that you will continue to drop by in the future.
