Shipping Can Be a Big Task….Make Sure You Get The Right Reseller Shipping Supplies
Let’s start with the basics and work our way up from there, shall we? There’s a few key aspects to shipping correctly and shipping with ease. Allow us to dive into that a little further.
Shipping can be a daunting process if you’re not set up for success to begin with. Just like when you’re starting out, you’ll realize here and there the things that you’re missing and how annoying it is to have to go without!
We suggest planning ahead in these situations and making sure you’re 100% prepared before needing to ever ship in the first place, but of course like with most things, you’ll likely just learn as you go with what items are best to keep close by during your shipping time.
The Basic Reseller Shipping Supplies

As you can tell, these are truly the basics. If we don’t have these nearby for whatever reason during shipping, it really puts a damper on our shipping speed and quality.

These are the items that we use every single day, with every single item.
Pro Tips: Anything under 1 pound in the eBay shipping page typically has 1x1x1 for the dimensions prefilled out. As long as your items are under a pound, feel free to skip the measuring step and save yourself some time! If the package is over 1 pound however, be sure to round up to the higher inch for your dimensions. If you cut off half an inch, you’ll likely get an email from the postal service you choose that you owe an extra dollar or two since your shipping dimensions were off! (This goes for weight as well, be sure to enter the ounce above what your item weighs in at, since you’ll want to ensure you covered yourself in case your scale is off!)

Improve Your Customer Service With These Supplies
This second set of products is slightly different. These are the items that we love to have on hand (when possible!) To ensure we’re giving our customers that little bit of extra. It’s fun to include them knowing that they’ll most likely be well received on the other end, giving them a little boost of excitement when opening their package!
Most people shopping online are looking for items for themselves or others, but regardless of what they’re buying, we do our best to make every package feel like a little gift to yourself. What fun would it be if not?!
Of course these items are not 100% necessary to do a great job selling on eBay, but we really encourage adding at least a few of these options to give your buyers a top notch experience.
There are a bunch of affordable options out there if you’re not interested in our suggestions, but we’ve included some of the ones that we like best and are hopeful that you’ll like them, too!
As for Thank You Cards and Sale Flyers, these are two things you can either purchase off a local printer, find online with one of the many printing services available, or even by choosing a more cost-effective option and creating them yourself on a program like Canva! Pro Tips: Keep things simple! Try not to go overboard with too much *fluff,* but keep it exciting enough that your buyer enjoys their experience purchasing from you. Also keep in mind that you want to remain cost-effective and can work up to purchasing additional items as you grow! Our suggested order if you’re on a budget would be: Thank You Cards, Clear Polybags, Sale Flyer, Ribbon, Free Gift. This will allow you to continue providing exceptional customer service on a budget!

All of the items mentioned today can be exchanged with others if they work best for you! Every business is different and requires a new set of tools that another reseller may not necessarily need.
