Again, I’d like to start us out on the basics, then we can get into the nitty-gritty cute and fun office supplies that all of us really secretly want, am I right? Of course having comfort and enjoying your workspace is a real thing, so we’re one hundred percent wanting to back you on those not-so-necessary buys.
However, by starting out with these basics, you can continue your growth in your business and work towards investing in the more awesome items later!

The Apple Shouldn’t Fall Far From the Reselling Tree
We used to have Androids and HPs our entire lives until one day something strange happened. They both broke. No, not on the same day, but yes, unfortunately for them, we decided to take a chance on Apple products instead.
Knowing what we know now about these Apple products, we’re super bummed we didn’t cross over to their side sooner! As a business owner, they have been IMMENSELY helpful in being efficient in all tasks. Those items breaking were just a blessing in disguise, since we have become super productive since then!
Gone are the days of uploading or plugging in camera cards or needing cords to link devices. Gone are the hours we would spend uploading our products to resell on eBay or another platform since we couldn’t do so on our computer without those pesky aforementioned cords.
FINALLY we could simply take the picture and boom! There it was on our laptop, just waiting to be posted online. Easy peezy. The watch just made being on the go even easier. At thrift stores, yard sales, etc, we’re now able to stay active with messages and calls and our calendar, as well as track our fitness lifting all of our heavy bins! Win, win!
Printing is essential for certain things, but doesn’t come along too often, opt for something that’s trustworthy but won’t break the bank. Box lights have been a huge help for photographing items if we can’t use the natural light outdoors, we don’t use them often anymore but they’re great to have on hand.

This Chair Was Mint to Be
The day I invested in a good office chair my heart sank a little into my gut. It was a larger investment that was hard to justify. But as the days in front of the laptop grew longer, my back got more and more sore! It’s hands down one of the best purchases to this day and will last for years to come.
Mints might seem a little weird, but they have assisted in keeping focus and staying awake when tasks get too monotonous! The remaining few items have helped to keep calm during tougher days and remind me to stay grateful for being able to work from home in a space that I truly love.
This is something that is highly recommended when you’re building up your space, make it something you enjoy being in! You’ll be much more productive if you don’t dread being there day after day.
Rooted Drawers is a Growing Resource for Resellers
As you can tell, these lists are both super different than when we first talked about our favorite office supplies years ago. They’ve dramatically improved and have been upgraded since then several times.
Which goes to show that not only are each one of us different, but each one of us goes through changes, adjustments and growth spurts both professionally and personally that will most oftentimes reflect where we spend the most time.
For us, that’s in our home office! We want to have the ability to work effectively and efficiently as we remain growing upwards, which means that we’ve invested some of our hard earned reselling dollars back into being comfortable in the place we spend most of our online time in.
It’s important to have a balance in your budget and in your growth, so don’t feel like you have to make all of these leaps right off the bat! It’s taken many years for us to get to this point, and we still have a lot to learn!
