List What You’ve Got! As resellers, a lot of times, we find ourselves having too much inventory! Our death piles overwhelm us, and we can’t keep up with the listings let alone the Jones’. Let’s take a look at 3 Quick Tips to Listing Daily on Poshmark when you have nothing left to list.
Then along came a global pandemic that drastically limited what we were able to go out and find physically. Meaning thrift stores, yard sales, you name it. This is surely when you went crawling back (I know I did), to that death pile hoping and wishing there was enough to go around for a while.
Unfortunately, if you reside in a smaller home or apartment, this inventory hoarding is probably not something you often succumb to. That can be a good thing. (In that, you don’t have piles of items to your ceiling!) But also a bad thing if you’re not able to source regularly.
Here are just a few quick tips to keeping up with your daily listing, just when you think you’ve got nothing left to list.
(Keep in mind that this post is more directed towards Poshmark resellers and that it may not apply as much to other platforms. See my other posts for more tips and tricks that may be more applicable to your situation! Thank you for reading!)
1) Tip Number 1 – Relist from Scratch
Doing so will also boost your item back up to the top of the search, which will, in turn, have even more people seeing your item as “Newly Listed” or “Just In.”
We mentioned the stale likes above, and this is something not to fret about. It’s a bummer that you’ll lose those whenever you delete and relist. Although, it’s unlikely that those peeps will be buying anytime soon if they haven’t already.

2) Tip Number 2 – Poshmark Has a New “COPY” Feature, Use It!!
I have to admit, many times when Posh comes out with some new tools and features, they aren’t really all that exciting. I get that it’s probably complicated to come up with these things, but usually, they aren’t very useful. (At least in many people’s opinions).
However, this semi-new feature that they implemented recently, has really got me excited. It makes the “relisting” process much quicker and easier and saves quite a bit of time as well.
Obviously, this “copy” feature is similar to the relisting point we made above. But, you have to be sure that if you’re taking this quick and easy route, your listing is at least 60 days old for it to be bumped up to the “Just In” category.

(A good pro tip I found from a fellow posher on Reddit, is to utilize the recently added “Additional Details” drop-down menu. You can do so while on the listing page. This will allow you to add in the date you listed so that you can easily reference when you may want to copy.)

3) Tip Number 3 – Scour Your Home for Fresh Inventory
We all probably have way too many extra things sitting around, collecting dust, and taking up space. This can make your home seem stuffy and cluttered. But, there can also be items that can be worth some much-needed pocket cash!
This is where you should try and use what you’ve got first and foremost. Make a few trips around your home every few weeks or months, and see what you’d be willing to part with. The hubs and I do this on a regular basis, and each time I think how could there possibly be more?! I continuously surprise myself.
Doing this simple task will not only help keep your home clear of excess clutter but also can score you a few more pieces of inventory. Essentially free of cost because well, you already own them. I always have a small pile of items to donate, and sell, and that simply goes to the garbage at the end of these rounds.
Sure, depending on what these items may be, they probably won’t fetch you top dollar, such as the items you may be outsourcing for. However, they will definitely get you by and keep your listings fresh. This will keep your closet active until you’re able to return to your normal sourcing routine once again.

Don’t Over Complicate Things!
Just remember to keep it simple and consistent. Your effort will pay off as long as you keep up the good work and keep on listing! Here’s a quick summary to refresh you on what you can do to help keep your listings active and fresh each and every day!
- Relist from Scratch
- Use the Copy Feature
- Remember to Check your own Home for Inventory (that may be hiding just waiting to bring home the bacon for you!)
