3 Things I’ve Learned This Week Working From Home

Working from Home? Here’s a few things I’ve learned so far:

Hey friends! So if you were here to read my recent posts, you’ll know that I’ve been considering a new post series for the weekly Thursday slot. I mentioned that I felt this was a good time do a little switcheroo, being that, that post marked about 6 months since starting the Top 10 Weekly Sales! Holy cow it’s gone by quickly!! Check the most recent one out below if you’re interested in learning what they were!

However! I’ve had a few people mention that the Top Ten Sales has really helped them to see what’s selling, so I’ve decided to continue on with that series as well as this new one. The Top Ten Sales posts will be on Saturdays, since this new series is taking the Thursday slot. Thank you for your patience as I adjust things!

So, we have begun a new mini series. These posts will focus on the 3 most important things that I’ve learned as a reseller, (that also works from home as a blogger), and why I value them. I will also explain how I plan to implement them into my everyday full-time reselling business, and how I feel they’ll benefit my brand. I hope you enjoy this new series!

Please feel free to drop any comments or suggestions below in the comment box, so that we can discuss and share similar topics of interest! Thanks for reading!

Never Stop Learning

Whether this be related to your reselling business, to your many side hustles, or to your life, it’s the cold hard truth. If you keep on learning, you’ll never stop improving yourself. Always try and look for new skills, work related or not, to continue honing in on.

For instance, if you’re looking to spend more time outdoors, (which we’ll talk more about in the next section), try your hand at rock climbing, or snowboarding, or just get better at running if you want. Just adding a little bit extra of something every day, will continue to increase your abilities, and self-confidence. Adding a bit of extra in the work world, will clearly lead you to more and more opportunities over time. This can only get increasingly more beneficial as time goes on. For example; today, I plan to get my regularly scheduled work done earlier than usual, so that I can check out SkillShare to increase my knowledge in some online categories.

Speaking of SkillShare, check out their link here, to get your first 7 days of premium learning for FREE! The more your knowledge grows, the more effective, and productive you can ultimately be. Don’t undervalue your abilities!

Don’t Sacrifice “Me” Time

Me time is crucial. Try your best to make sure that you fit at least a little bit of time in each and every day, to actually learn more skills! If your mind and body are tired, overworked, and not performing at their best, your work and your demeanor will surely show it. Just 5 minutes a day can really change your mindset and make you more at ease to take on the world.

Try to make a point to stretch daily, and exercise (outdoors) if you’re able. Getting some much needed fresh air and taking a nice stroll first thing in the morning can really set up your day for success.

Stretching has really helped feel my best. This is simply because when I’m all cramped up and icky feeling, I don’t feel like doing much of anything besides plopping on the couch for some Netflix and chill mode! Stay limber and eat leaner, and you will feel 100x better to go about your day. Check out the post below if you’re wondering why I get up ridiculously early!

Run Uphill, or Spiral Downhill

I’d like to tie this into the keep on learning point we talked about above. Forge ahead, and you’ll keep moving upwards. When you lose track of what propels you, it’s easy to forget what you’re fighting uphill for in the first place. We’ve all had our moments where we feel like down is the only way out, but I’m here to tell you that you can do great things! Keep your head up and keep your goals in places you can see them. (Yes, that means on the bathroom mirror like David Goggins, or the wall behind your desk, like myself, or even on a big white board to keep them ready for you to read in plain sight!)

Speaking of David Goggins, check out his incredibly motivational audiobook, Can’t Hurt Me,on Audible. It’s something I will be forever grateful for listening to, and has pushed me a hell of a lot further into working towards my dreams. Go get yours. I’m truly looking forward to hearing about your experiences and life lessons, as we could all use a little help from our friends. Take care and talk to you soon! -Shelby
