Hey, fellow sellers of the online world! A friend of mine recently asked if I typically listened to music while I list or work on other reselling-related tasks. Which prompted me to think that maybe this isn’t done as much as it really should be. Let me explain.

Reselling On Repeat

After you’ve been in the reselling realm for years on end, these tasks can get repetitive, and extremely boring might I add. The same things need doing day in and day out, and it’s not like there’s anyone else around that’s going to get to it.

Here’s where I suggest some music I listen to while I list. Music makes us move, typically creates a better mood all around, and is even proven to help us work more effectively and efficiently.

Pretty cool, if you ask me.

So…why aren’t more of us using this to our advantage in our reselling careers? Oftentimes resellers will sulk in their office space or small back corner of their garage, going at it from dusk til dawn without a break. (We may or may not be self-proclaimed workaholics).

But perhaps trying out a new playlist, one with words or without, can help improve your mood in your workspace, leading you to be substantially more productive than ever before!

What Kind Of Music Is Suggested?

Well, this can go a plethora of ways. Since there are essentially endless options to choose from, the choice really is all yours to make. But in the meantime, let me tell you a little bit about music I listen to while I list or work, and what works best for me. (Or what I work best with, rather!)

“Lofi“ Music is something I discovered about a year ago. I’m not even sure how I found it in the first place, to be honest, but I’ve really enjoyed it ever since. This is a playlist that plays on loop, and there is a particular one that I prefer. I like this best whenever I’m cleaning up, listing, or working on something that won’t give me the chance to start bopping and singing along to the lyrics!

Then, there’s the oh-so-dreaded picture-taking part of the reselling world. I loathe it. I really do. It’s, by far, my least favorite part of reselling, most likely because it’s a pain, both lengthy and physically on my ever-aging back and knees! Finding a new setup is at the top of my to-dos, so I’ll be sure to share that idea with you all when I come up with it!

During photography time, I throw on the playlist “Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix (Vol. 1 & Vol. 2) (Full Soundtrack).”

Oh yes, and then the dogs and I jam out. It’s great and pretty hilarious.

I’ve loved these songs long before these movies came out, but now that they’ve thrown them all into one amazing YouTube video, I couldn’t be more pleased! It’s been really helpful in immediately putting me in a better mood to trudge through all those backbreaking photos that need taking.

So, What Will I Listen to Next as I List?

Do you see yourself turning on some tunes during your next photo sesh? Or perhaps you’ll get together with a friend and jam out together during some listing at a coffee shop.

Switch it up now and then! The same location, the same tasks, etc. can wear you out over time, and throwing on some music to keep your mood upbeat will bring you nothing but more success!
